Friendly service, delicious heroes, a relic in Dyker Heights that is a reminder of a neighborhood that once was. Everything is fresh and imported. You are not bound to get something off hand from here. The owner is a nice man. He is very old fashioned; I do not mean to say that as a criticism. I got an Italian hero from him and it is practically spot on. The bread is amazing and the meats are layered beautifully. They do not offer much in the prepared meals department aside from a few chicken dishes and a slew of ravioli. For the sandwiches and butcher shop this is a must.
The server was the best, very friendly .. Everything was Fresh in the showcase that the food looked fake. And the store was EXTREMELY Clean and very Organized.
A store that sells a little of everything from fresh cold cuts, hero's, paninis, specialty items, and meats. I was starving and it was just a little too early for a hero so I went with a quick eggplant rollatini. The eggplant rollatini was delicious. Fresh mozzarella and ricotta rolled between fried eggplant and layered with sauce means you can't go wrong. The store itself is clean and staff is friendly. I will be back!
The smell when you first walk in makes you automatically hungry! The prepared foods are fresh! The tuna salad is very flavorful! I also love the sausage rings & chicken cutlets they are sliced to perfection! The workers are friendly and patient! Everything from this place is great you really can't go wrong.
All is great in this place... Bob, the owner, has everything down pat . Top notch sandwiches, as well as Italian specialties.
One of the best pork stores in Brooklyn! Best cuts of meat and the chicken cutlets are sliced nice and thin A++++++++++
This is usually my go-to for Chicken parm sandwiches, i like it on a hero, but make sure you call ahead of time to find out if they still have bread. It happened a few times where they ran out of heros. They don't have a huge menu for specialty sandwiches, but you can always personalize your own
My favorite spot for chicken parm. Full of flavor, cheesey, perfect amount of saucy-ness. I'd suggest ordering a bit earlier in the day, because they do run out of bread sometimes, especially when I call after 4pm
Really solid place. Came here to pick up a sandwich and some Mac and cheese balls. The Italian on a hero was really good, a bit pricey but worth it. The Mac and cheese balls were good too. Came back a couple of weeks later just to pick up cold cuts. Got some prosciutto and Genoa salami. Both were really good. Will be back and definitely recommend.
I always come here for the prosciutto, mozzarella and balsamic hero for lunch. You also have to pick up their rice balls and prosciutto balls to go. I also tried the chicken sausage wheels and they're also really good.
